DUO CHRONOS (Daria Rossi Poisa cello and Alessandro Perri piano) was born in 2011. They won the 2nd prize at the Grand Prix of Calabria. They played many concerts in Rome (Sala Baldini, Theatre dell’ascolto, Santa Rita in the 18th edition of the festival of European music), in Barletta (Association Athenaeum), in Paris (Eglise Notre Dame de la Compassion ). The synergy is given by the common passion for chamber music. They also  research unusual  pages  for thematic concerts: "Travel in Europe between 800 and 900", "Italian Music since the end 800 ", "Concert of French music ".In the first performance ever, for the Amici dell’opera of Pistoia, the three works for cello and piano composed by Daria Rossi Poisa specifically for the Duo. Their repertoire ranges from famous pages chamber music of composers such as Beethoven, Schumann, Saint-Saens, Brahms, Fauré, De Falla, Shostakovich, Piazzolla; including  pages for  the more rare and talented Italian composers of Scarlatti, Donizetti, Pergolesi, Rossini, Mercadante, Busoni, Malipiero, Cilea, Martucci, Castelnuovo Tedesco, Morricone; nonethless concluding by  lesser-known thematic programs such as "Women in Music" program entirely dedicated to women composers since the XXth Century to now a days.

Cello and Guitar

The DUO DYNAMIS was founded in 2004 by of Daria Rossi Poisa, cellist, and Massimo Baiocco, guitarist. From the beginning their interest has turned to the research and the subsequent transcription of works that can adapt perfectly to the unusual duo, so going to build a musical journey that comes from the sixteenth century to the present day, even through the traditional music. Parallel is interested in the research of pieces written for this ensemble, dating mainly from the last fifty years of the last century, when composers began to appreciate the potential union of the two instruments. In fact, the similar extension of cello and guitar allows to complement each other and perfectly mix different sounds and timbres, creating sounds intriguing and persuasive. The search of the Duo is, therefore, in expanding a little known repertoire thanks to a way of playing characterized by mutual understanding of the thoughts and the other musical directions: an intimate experience that enriches the soul.

Duo: Cello and Accordion

“Colores de Tango” is a project aiming at reading tango music in the perspective of a double encounter which is the essential requirement for its very starting point: milonga dancing.
Here the synthesis takes place between two instruments on the surface quite apart from each other: the Cello, a classical, somehow hieratic noble voice, and the Diatonic Accordion, a basically folk instrument, indissolubly associated with dance.
The two dimensions of tango, the folk and the introspective one that probes into life’s depths and contradictions, merge in the encounter of two sounds, often exchanging roles and thus exploring both of their musical worlds. The musical colours of “Colores de Tango” are therefore multi-faceted and surprising.

Trio: Violin, Cello and Guitar

Oblivion trio ( violin , cello and guitar ) is a project born in 2015. The extraordinary trio is able to combine differents, and apparently incompatibile genres, togheter  from classical to traditional , from tango to movie soundtrack , using transcriptions and arrangements created by the  trio itself with imagination and taste and musicality and originalworks written by Daria Rossi Poisa specifically for them . The trio composes and decomposes itself through his various possibilities  (duo , solo, trio) creating a range of opportunities and variety of  music to present itself not only for listening concerts but also for  danceable tango concerts . Their debut at the opening concert of the cultural event of the summer season of the International Women's House in Rome was particularly appreciated .

Quartet / Quintet

Alma de Tango is a musical group  enhancing the music of Astor Piazzolla , performed in quintet ( accordion , cello , piano , bass , percussion ) or quartet . Their feature is the  timbre variety ,  the surprising rhythmic drive and heat that musicians can create , thanks to their communication skills. They are regularly invited to play in Roma’s milongas  for tango danceable concerts and also perform in listening concerts . In their repertoire in the foreground the music of Astor Piazzolla , but they also offer excursions in the tango nuevo , in soundtracks, in the traditional tango for concerts always pleasant and perfectly danceable .
